It is the intent of Lake County to enter into a contract with a firm to furnish and deliver various detention supplies for the Lake County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) and Hulse Detention Center per the specifications and terms and conditions contained herein.

Q#1: Do you anticipate extending the bid due date? 

A: Lake County has not decided to extend the due date at this time.

Q#2: What additional details are you willing to provide, if any, beyond what is stated in bid documents concerning how you will identify the winning bid?

A: Please refer to Page 4 of the Bid document under Award.

Q#3: Was this bid posted to the nationwide free bid notification website at www.mygovwatch.com?

A: No.

Q#4: Other than your own website, where was this bid posted?

A: This Bid was solicited on Lake County website and Suburban News-Sun Newspaper.

Addendum #2

April 24, 2020

Lake County will be accepting only electronic bid submissions for Invitation for Bid #20068 – Inmate Clothing and Supplies for Lake County, IL.

Please follow the steps below to upload your electronic Bid Submission:

Go to www.lakecountypurchasingportal.com

  1. Click on the Bid Number:  20068
  2. Click on register for this bid
  3. Enter your user name and password
  4. Under the Submittals section you will be able to upload your bid submittal
    1. Click on the browse button
    2. Navigate your computer and select the appropriate file
      1. Multiple files can be uploaded, each file can be no more than 20 MB
    3. Click on save submittals
    4. Close the browser

*Please note: Responses are due at 11:00 a.m. CST  on Tuesday, May 5,  2020. Please allow sufficient time for any technical issues you may have and upload your bid early.  Please email Purchasing at purchasing@lakecountyil.gov to receive confirmation that we have successfully received your submissions.

Please follow the following steps to attend the Public Bid Opening:

  1. Go to www.lakecountypurchasingportal.com
  2. Click on the “Under Review” tab
  3. Click on the Bid Number:  20068
  4. Click on the “Events” tab
  5. Join the Zoom Meeting by clicking on the meeting link
    1. Please plan on joining the meeting at least 5 minutes early and mute your microphone
