QUESTION: What is the budget for this Study?

Response: The amount budgeted for FY23 was $12,000 and will be in a similar range for FY24.

QUESTION: Who is the current vendor working on your Cost Allocation activities?

Response: Maximus

Question: Under the first bullet of the “Services to be provided”, it states that Lake county would like a “detailed full indirect cost allocation plan”. A “Full Cost” Cost Allocation Plan (used only for internal use) and a 2 CFR part 200 Cost Allocation Plan (used for state & federal claiming) are two separate deliverables. Does Lake county want a “Full Cost” version of the Cost Allocation Plan? This type of the plan is not listed under the list of deliverables.

Response: To clarify, Lake County is seeking a fully compliant cost allocation plan and rate calculation that can be used for state and federal claiming.

Question: When was the current plan developed? By whom? What was the contract amount?

Response: The current plan has been in effect for several years with the vendor, Maximus. The amount of the annual contract amount is $12,000.

Question: By when would the County like the new Indirect Cost Study completed?

Response: We would like to begin in December 2023 for the FY 2022 Indirect Cost Rate Study. Please provide a timeline for completion in the response to the RFP.

Question: Insurance requirements include Commercial Gen. Liability general aggregate of $5,000,000. Our current policy is $4,000,000. Will the County waive the $5,000,000 requirement?

Response: No.

Question: We currently do not have Cyber Insurance. Will the County waive this requirement?

Response: No.

Question: Can the county please provide a copy of the “Lake County's information security policy and privacy standards" as vendors are required under section 32 Information Security of the General Terms and Conditions to meet this threshold in their proposals.
