Q: I believe address 103 looks like it has a basement. The bid specs say no off-site fill may be brought on-site and we have to use on-site material to grade. I’m not sure how big the basement is but there may be a nice dip in the property that will hold water. Is that acceptable or should we add the price on bringing in some loads of fill for this property?
A: No fill should be brought in for this project. This site will be excavated in the future for a stormwater improvement project. The footprint of structure should be smoothed to match adjacent grade with onsite material.
Q: Do all the trees and shrubs on the property need to be removed?
A: YES. All trees and shrubs will need to be removed so that the site is clear of any and all materials.
