Q: Will you accept partial bids?

A: The County intends to award this contract in whole or in part to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s) that are in compliance with the specifications, terms and conditions identified herein. However, Lake County reserves the right to award by Group or by Item if such an award is deemed to be in the best interest of Lake County. All bidders shall be authorized dealers/distributors, and must be able to provide supporting documentation at Lake County’s request to be considered for award. Lake County reserves the right to request additional information for evaluation purposes. The County intends to issue an immediate PO for the purchase of all accessories listed in Group A.

Q:  There is no line item for solenoid, circuit breaker or shop supplies. How is this being addressed?

A: Lake County Sheriff's office listed all the parts needed on the provided parts list, and are not in need of solenoids, or circuit breakers.  Per the bid, “Unit price shall include freight, overhead, profit, and all other charges based upon estimated quantities for each item specified on the bid sheets.”

Q: Can you provide the specs of the Ford Interceptors that were ordered?

A: Yes, please see the County's Purchase Order

Q: In reference to line 15, Item 14 of the "Ford Utility parts" excel document, a UHF2150A is not the preferred Ford method of flashing the front headlights and may void the Ford headlamp warranty, the preferred method is to order Ford option 66A or option 60A and whelen P/N:SSFFP16.  Please advise the county's intentions. 

A: The County did not order Ford option 66A or option 60A.  The County's preference is for part number UHF2150A.
