Section 4.  Award will be modified as follows:

Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based on the total bid. Who is best qualified to perform in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.  Lake County reserves the right to award this contract by location if determined to be in the best interests of the County.

Scope Clarifications:

For the Greggs Landing Reservoir, a total of 40 cracks or fractures have been identified that extend from the floor to the ceiling.  Some cracks were filled with a flexible sealant that is failing.

An additional site visit will be held on November 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.

We will meet at Greggs Landing Reservoir. located in the Village of Vernon Hills. There isn’t an address, rather the reservoir is located at the intersection of Greggs Parkway and Crenshaw Cir.  With the entrance to the site on Crenshaw. 

Take Milwaukee Ave (Route 21) to Greggs Landing and turn West.  Proceed to Crenshaw Cir and Turn North.  The gated entrance is located on the east side of the road.
