Bid #20023 - Pump Bid for LCPW

Addendum #1

May 4, 2020

Question:  The BID states “Badger Flow Meters”.  Can you confirm if this primarily focused on MAG Meter parts or residential meter parts?

Response:  Please see the response below.

Question:  The bid requests a discount percentage for parts;  however,  a list identifying the parts was not included. Would it be possible to receive the list & quantity of each part to allow us the opportunity to apply the appropriate discounts.

Response:  Please give proposed discount for parts related to both MAG and compound meters or give us a proposed parts and price list per part.

Question:  Could the proposal be modified to allow to provide pricing instead of a discount?  Badger Meter typically does not provide a discounted rate, but the price of an item.

Response:  Please provide pricing for new MAG and compound meters from ¾”-16” in instead of percentage discount.

Question:  Will NEW meters be included with this bid?  If so please provide quantity, description and details for each meter type.

Response:  Please use current list provided to LCPW prior to this bid as reference to new meters, and refer to above question for sizing.

The bid calls out electronic submission in addition to providing response via USB memory and/or CD, section 4b.  Could you confirm if we are required to submit both or will the electronic submittal meet the requirements.

Response:  Lake County is only requesting an electronic submittal.

Question:  Is there a scheduled date for the Zoom meeting stated on the document?

Response:  The bid opening is scheduled for May 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.  You may access the meeting through the events tab.
