Q. In regards to #29 - Proposer Qualifications.  Can Lake County confirm that 5 years of human resources (not financial services) specific consulting experience is required of the proposer?

A. The County confirms the requirement of human resources specific consulting experience.Specific experience in financial services or other function areas particular to the assessment should be articulated to supplement human resource specific consulting experience.

Q. For Option C specific to the Construction and Facilities functions, is Lake County looking for all services included in 1.1 & 1.2 of the Specifications section of the RFP?

A.  Yes, specific to the Construction and Facilities functions.

Q. Does Lake County have any active construction projects that would be reviewed by the selected vendor? If so, how many active projects are there? What is the size and scope?

A. While any active construction projects will be an important part of the context for the assessment of the Construction and Facilities functions, specific review of active construction projects will not be required.

Q. Is Lake County looking for advice on opportunities for strategic sourcing of services?

A. Lake County is seeking counsel on all opportunities identified through the assessment.

Q. What is the desired work product related to the analysis of employee perception and morale?

A. The employee perception and morale are identified as a component that should be addressed in the findings and recommendations.  It is anticipated that the consultant will be in a position to analyze and address this based on its observations, interviews with and perceptions shared by employees.

Q. What is Lake County’s current ERP System?

A. Oracle

Q. What is Lake County’s goal for the tour of County facilities related to the Construction and Facilities functions? Is the County seeking an assessment of the facilities that will be toured? If so, please specify the scope of this desired work.
 

A. The tour of the County facilities and infrastructure is intended to provide the consultant with access to the breadth of the respective functions, the interface the functions have with the organization, and the manner in which the projects and facilities are maintained.  The County is not seeking an assessment of facilities. 

Q. Does Lake County have a proposed budget for this project? If so, will the County share it with prospective vendors?

A. While the County has a funding source for the project, it does not have a specific proposed budget. 

Q. Has Lake County had any recent audit findings related to their Finance/Accounting Department?

A. No

Q. Does Lake County lease space for county use? If so, is the County looking for an analysis of leased spaces for the requested facilities review?

A. While leased spaces are part of the context for the assessment of the Construction and Facilities functions, specific review leases will not be required. 

Q. What is Lake County’s current work order management system for facilities?

A. The County is completing a transition from TMA to Oracle.
