A: The Lake County Workforce Development Board is in its second year of its formalized marketing and communications plan with a qualified marketing firm. This project will develop a strategic outreach and recruitment campaign targeting job seekers and small businesses with the Lake County Workforce Development Department and Job Center of Lake County; this is a new initiative.
The marketing firm working on the Workforce Board’s project is eligible to submit a response to this RFP.

Q#3: Can you please advise whether this project involves only strategy and plan or also include implementation and execution of marketing tactics?
A: The Activities and Deliverables include:
- Advise in the development of communications strategy.
- Develop the framework of a consistent message and look across the Workforce Development Department.
- Develop a communications tool kit that can be access across the Workforce Development Department and shared with Job Center partners and community stakeholders.
- Provide communications and media training to personnel when needed.
- Recommend and Develop content for communication materials, such as: a. newsletters/e-newsletters (monthly/bi-monthly) b. presentation slide decks c. videos d. webinars on special series e. reports f. one-pagers g. fact sheets
- Alignment of messaging across all channels and partner organizations.

Q#1: Given that the project includes development of a communications strategy, are you open to a pricing proposal that includes a firm-fixed price project fee for strategy development and an anticipated range for the implementation of the strategy?
A: Yes.
Q#2: Has the Lake County Workforce Board approved funds to support this work? If so, what funds have been budgeted for this project?
A: Yes, American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding.
Q#3: What is the anticipated term of the contract?
A: Please reference page 4; #9 Contract Term and page 16 projected timeline which show the contract execution date.
Q#4: When do you anticipate that you will provide responses to questions? The deadline for questions to be submitted by October 18 allows just four business days for proposal development if you issue responses on October 19. Will you consider extending the proposal response deadline?
A: We will provide responses to questions on an ongoing basis with the goal of responding within 24 business-hours.

A: The County currently have no plans to extend our deadline of October 25, 2022, at 11:00 am local time at this time.
