Question:  In section 2 - is the requested information only for the prime consultant.  Should similar information be submitted for subconsultants in an appendix?

Response:  Section 2 is for the proposing company. Any sub-consultants used should be identified as part of the sections in which they are used; i.e. Section 3 – relevant experience, etc.

Question:  In section 4 (max 3 page) – the section notes resumes are requested.  Should we put resumes in an appendix or keep resumes limited to bios that fit within the three pages.

Response:  Please meet the page requirement.  The full statement of the request is “Include a resume and/or relevant experience of each key team member and a brief description of the tenure or work history among team members.”  If full resumes are provided then limit the key membership to meet the page requirement. Otherwise provide the synopsis associated to the relevant experience and brief description of the work history.

Question:  We intend to include potential subconsultants that may be needed to complete the described work (geotech, survey, etc), however, once the full scope is reviewed, if selected, can additional specialty subconsultants be added later if required with Lake County approval?

Response:  Yes. Please explain your approach within the Project Management Team section.

Question:  Confirming the sustainability statement (page 15 of the proposal) should go in an appendix with the requested forms.

Response:  Yes. The Sustainability Section is exempt from the 14 page limit.

Question:  The SOI page limit is 14 pages (not including required forms). Section 4.0 – Project Management Team lists a limit of 3 pages for that section. BUT the section also requires listing of specific personnel for the proposed project team including a resume for each person. Seeing that typical multi-disciplinary project teams have personnel numbering over a dozen, would the required resumes be considered part of the 14 page-limit? If so, that alone would surpass the 14-page limit of the SOI.

Question:  Sustainability Statement requests a narrative outlining policies and practices implemented by the consulting frm to reduce carbon footprint and includes a number of parameters that need to be discussed. Does this Sustainability Statement section fall under the 14-page limit? Or is it exempt from the limit?

Response:  The Sustainability Section is exempt from the 14 page limit.
