To bid on this project, Contractors shall be required provide a valid IDOT “Certificate of Eligibility” and obtain an approved LCDOT “Authorization to Bid”.   The improvements include modifying the intersections of Darrell Road with Dowell Road and Darrell Road with Fisher Road to provide modern roundabouts. Dowell Road will be re-aligned to the south to provide an intersection closer to ninety degrees with Darrell Road. This work includes HMA pavement reconstruction, concrete curb and gutter and median construction, HMA multi-use path construction, installation of storm sewer and drainage structures, retaining wall construction, excavation of detention basins, street lighting installation, pavement marking, landscaping, and all associated work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and as described herein.
