Description:

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the purpose of establishing a contract with a qualified firm to provide consulting services for design and implementation of a sampling program to establish the baseline pollutant levels of Mercury and PCBs in the Lake Michigan watershed in compliance with the Lake Michigan Nearshore Watershed PCBs and Mercury TMDL to the County of Lake as outlined herein. 

 

Notice is hereby given that Request for Proposals (RFP) (one electronic unprotected copy) will be received from a qualified firm interested in providing the services, as described herein. Firms are encouraged to submit as much information as necessary to demonstrate their interest, experience, and qualifications to perform the work described for any project, service, or combination thereof. Via the Lake County Purchasing Portal until Friday August 23, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. CST.

Due Description: Submit PDF copies of your focused, concise proposal response to the Attention of: Anna Niedzinski, Stormwater Coordinator. Electronically submit all proposals in .PDF format to the project manager via the upload function under your registration in the Purchasing Portal. File size upload limits: 5 individual files maximum 20MB each file for a total file upload of 100MB. All proposals must be received no later than Friday August 23, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. Any proposals received after the submittal deadline will not be reviewed.

Failure to request an interpretation constitutes a waiver to later claim that ambiguities or misunderstandings caused a firm to improperly submit a proposal.
