The Sylvan Lake Dam Modification Project includes the installation of all work identified in these bidding documents that consists of modifying the earthen embankment of the dam, utilities, and the principal spillway. The work consists of all investigation, geotechnical work, equipment, materials, traffic control, dewatering, utility relocations, restoration and labor necessary to properly install a steel sheet pile cut of wall and a concrete drop structure, HMA pavement reconstruction, 48” outlet pipe, 12” and 16” storm sewer, watermain and sanitary sewer removal and relocation, temporary bypass pumping and piping for sewer systems, PCC curb and gutter and sidewalk along with ancillary work included in the BASIS OF BID FORM and Project Plan Set. Sylvan Lake dam is categorized as a Small Size, Class II dam.
