To bid on this project, Contractors shall be required provide a valid IDOT “Certificate of Eligibility” and obtain an approved LCDOT “Authorization to Bid”. The project includes the reconstruction and realignment of Winchester Road, and the reconstruction and widening of IL Route 83. The work to be performed under this contract consists of removal and replacement of full-depth hot mix asphalt pavement, paved shoulder addition, pavement markings, landscaping, an 8'x2' box culvert, storm sewer and pipe culverts, traffic signals, lighting, grading, and other miscellaneous items to be constructed along the length of the project. The project will be constructed under full closure and detour.
