Are the media carts to be included (AV Equipment)? If so what quantity?

Lake County may choose to provide Evidence Presentation Carts (including all AV equipment) from an alternate vendor in an effort to align the equipment with existing Evidence Presentation Systems. The County would ask proposers to provide an alternate cost to coordinate and integrate owner provided evidence presentation carts as part of the AV work. Lake County would also like proposers to provide an alternate cost to provide and integrate Evidence Presentation Carts (including all AV equipment). Please see attached Alternate Bid Form for more information.

Will functional drawings be provided for Judge’s Chambers, Executive conference room, Jury deliberation, conference rooms, and jury assembly area?

Functional drawings for these rooms are not available.  See Specification Section 274100 1.1 for the Summary of Work for these rooms/Systems.

What is the description of the Jury assembly room information displays?

Will type A, B, C & D termination notes (equipment tables) be supplied?

These notes are contained on sheets 2.TA701 and 2.TA702 which were included as part of a previous addendum.

In the Judges Office’s, what is driving content to the display and the speakers? There is no input plates or source shown on the drawings.

In the Judges Office’s, what control processor is being used for the Crestron touchscreens.

The Samsung ME52Cand ME65C flat panel displays are unavailable.  What current models should be substituted?

Contractor shall provide flat panel monitors that meets the minimum device requirements described in Specification Section 274160 2.3.

Extron 60-1313-01 MPS 602 media AV mixer for the evidence presentation carts has been discontinued.  What current model should be substituted?

Contractor shall provide a media presentation switcher that meets the room operational requirements and the minimum device requirements described in Specification Section 274160 2.12.

The QSC AD-CI cinema ceiling speakers have been discontinued.  What current model should be substituted?

Contractor shall provide ceiling speakers that meets the room operational requirements and the minimum device requirements described in Specification Section 274170 2.1.
